Here are some good things to watch on Netflix in case we get hit by another snowstorm or if you’re genuinely just bored and have no idea what to watch. Enjoy!
1. Heartthrob (2017)

Popular Samantha (Aubrey Peeples) starts dating nerdy and shy Henry (Keir Gilchrist) the summer of their senior year and things take quite a turn in their relationship. This film had me fucking SHOOK. I don’t know how I found it but I’m glad I did. Honestly I’ll watch anything Keir Gilchrist is in he’s just such a force on screen. I’m not gonna give anything away but PLEASE watch this.
2. Cloverfield Paradox (2018)
Pictured Above: Gugu Mbatha-Raw
I honestly don’t know how to describe this movie at all. A group of scientists are in space and really weird shit starts happening. It’s part of the Cloverfield franchise and it has gotten very mixed reviews. In my opinion, it’s great and I have theories that this movie is the one that could connect all three. If you love space movies you’ll love this. Oh! Theres also a little twist at the end.
3. Newness (2017)
Pictured above: Nicholas Hoult and Laia Costa
From director Drake Doremus (Like Crazy, Equals) Newness tells the tale of a couple in the technological age trying to navigate a relationship that started on a dating app. This movie will rip your heart into pieces y’all like I was screaming and crying at the screen the entire time. If you saw the film Like Crazy (RIP Anton) you’ll understand why. It’s like ten times more emotional. If you decide to watch this absolute mind fuck of a film, good luck!
4. When We First Met (2018)
Pictured Above: Alexandra Daddario and Adam Devine
Noah (Adam Devine) meets his ideal girl at a halloween party but gets friend zoned at the end of the night. Flash forward three years she’s getting married to another guy. Noah somehow time travels through a photo booth and decides to get her back. This movie actually had a lot of heart and was hysterical. I feel like they don’t make comedies like this anymore and I loved it. Netflix should do more of these.
5. Dismissed (2017)
Pictured above: Dylan Sprouse
Lucas Ward (Dylan Sprouse) is an A+ honor student who targets his teacher when he gives him a B+ on a paper. Ok so this movie was insane. I had a feeling it was gonna get crazy but not THAT crazy. Dylan Sprouse was actually phenomenal in this and I’m excited to see him act more in the future. Also while I’m here, Dylan is hotter than Cole. I don’t make the rules, sorry girlies.
